Jan Mitchell lives and writes in the Lake Macquarie area of NSW, Australia. She met Colin Kerby and his wife Judy in 2001, and was impressed by their stories of life in Melbourne and Colin's early years in Papua New Guinea. Colin and Judy wanted their stories recorded and Jan opted to take up the challenge of writing Colin's biography.
